Wondering What To Take For Hormone Imbalance?

Did you know that about 85 percent of women have one or more symptoms of PMS such as mood swings, irritability, bloating, and breast tenderness?

Hormonal Balance is used in Herbal Medicine as a hormone normaliser to help relieve premenstrual symptoms and stabilize menstrual cycle irregularities.

Proper hormonal balance is critical for good health, energy and vitality.

Looking for a Natural Approach to PMS and Perimenopause Relief?

For those women looking for a more natural way to relieve their PMS and pre-menopause symptoms, there are several botanicals that have been evaluated for use in PMS and pre-menopause. Some of these natural health products work by correcting hormonal imbalances and other products reduce symptoms by non-hormonal mechanisms.

Overall, these botanicals may be used to effectively balance hormones in the body and help alleviate PMS and premenopausal symptoms such as cramping, bloating, mood swings and breast tenderness.

femMED Hormonal Balance contains six ingredients that help provide PMS and pre-menopause symptom relief. The ingredients include: Saw Palmetto, Chastetree Berry, Milk Thistle, Scullcap, Red Raspberry and Wild Yam. No more wondering what to take for hormone imbalance, or what dose to take it in: one supplement does it all.

Chastetree Berry helps balance hormone levels and reduces symptoms of irritability, depression, headaches, and breast tenderness. Milk Thistle supports liver health and aids the body in detoxifying of hormones. All other ingredients  in Hormonal Balance work together to support optimal Hormonal Balance. All the ingredients contribute to PMS and pre-menopause symptom relief, along with hormonal balance by a variety of hormonal and non-hormonal mechanisms.

Suffering from PMS?

Each month, up to 80% of menstruating women experience some form of premenstrual syndrome [PMS] one to two weeks before their period. Specifically, PMS occurs during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. This phase occurs immediately after an egg is released from the ovary and lasts from day 14-28 of a normal menstrual cycle. PMS difficulties are more likely to trouble women between their late 20s and early 40s. PMS symptoms are uncomfortable and can affect daily routines and activities. They include physical and emotional symptoms such as: mood swings, breast tenderness, abdominal bloating, weight gain from fluid retention, food cravings, fatigue, irritability and depression, all of which leave you wondering what to take for hormone imbalance.

Each year, millions of women begin the menopausal transition. Pre-menopause lasts up until menopause, the point when the ovaries stop releasing eggs. This phase of menopause may last four or five years or longer. In this time, the ovaries start producing less estrogen and progesterone, the hormones that regulate menstruation. This declined ovarian function usually starts when a woman is in her late 30s. In the last one to two years of pre-menopause, this decline in estrogen accelerates. During this pre-menopause period, hormone levels rise and fall unevenly which brings about many changes in a woman’s physiology. Approximately two-thirds of pre-menopausal women develop symptoms related to the menopausal transition.

These pre-menopausal symptoms can be quite uncomfortable and can have a negative impact on a womans general quality of life. For instance, as ovulation becomes more erratic, the lower levels of progesterone may lead to longer and heavier periods. This can be accompanied by additional cramping and bloating than before women enter this pre-menopausal stage. Some women find the intervals between their menses are shorter, flow more scanty and some periods are missed altogether. During this period before menopause, some women experience mood swings, irritability or depression. Often the causes of these particular symptoms are sleep disturbances.

Customers Just Like You Find Success With Hormonal Balance

One has to be pro-active when it comes to their own body and I decided the best route for me was to start with the Hormonal Balance formula, as I was suffering from PMS symptoms and was closing in on my 51st birthday (which means menopause is around the corner). Subsequently, I ordered the product and have been using it since November 6, 2004. I especially loved the fact that the products are 100% natural, which is very, very important to me as I lead a very healthy lifestyle: eating clean, supplements, lots of exercise, fresh air, etc., and when I do hit menopause I don’t want to be taking HRT.

As a side note I would like to thank femMED, it’s been a pleasure dealing with their customer service ladies when ordering my product. I have also always had prompt and fast shipment.

Ms. Page thanks so much for a great product.

    Judy V.

I take the Hormonal Balance because when menopause kicked in at 53, I started to battle with acne that I had never had my entire life. It was so frustrating and it felt like I would now be plagued with constant breakouts and horrible skin forever. I am a huge skeptic but figured there was nothing to lose since you offered a money back guarantee. Well, it’s been 6 weeks and I’m shocked and ecstatic to say my skin is not only clear of pimples but the underlying redness has also subsided. It’s a miracle. Hormonal Balance rocks! Menopause sucks!

I have recommended your products to other women who are suffering from menopause side effects.
Thank you doesn’t seem like enough to express how I feel. You provided the anecdote that helped me to gain back my

This is a splendid product, which I get auto-shipped each month (that’s how much I depend on it!), and the customer service support is also top-rate. I am a 44 year old woman who, before Hormonal Support, suffered from mid-month bleeding. My doctor ran a full battery of tests and couldn’t find anything. Still the problems persisted — until I tried Hormonal Balance. I cannot rate it strongly enough.

    Ho there,
First I want to thank you for an amazing product! I’m taking the hormonal balance for a few months now and I would say, it saved my marriage.

My moods wings were unacceptable and this is fixed now.

I only take 2 capsules per day though, but it works fine for me.

My question is now, do I take them forever now or only for a specific time?
    Thanks again!

What does this formula do?

The ingredients in Hormonal Balance work together to gently balance your hormones and reduce symptoms associated with PMS and pre-menopause such as cramping, boating, mood swings and breast tenderness. By improving hormone balance, this formula may also help in regulating menstrual cycles.

Who should take this formula?

This formula was designed to help women with hormonal imbalances, particularly premenstrual syndrome and perimenopause (women 18 and over) who are experiencing hormonal imbalance symptoms including cramping, boating, mood swings and breast tenderness. This formula is not recommended for girls in puberty or pregnant women.

I have really severe cramping, heavy periods and migraines so my doctor recommended the pill. I am worried about side effects…what do you suggest?

Oral contraceptives, which contain synthetic hormones, can cause significant side effects for some women, such as an increase in the risk of heart attacks, breast cancer and stroke. Weight gain, blood clots, breakthrough bleeding, nausea, headaches, depression, vaginitis, urinary tract infection, breast changes and skin problems have also been associated with the use of oral contraceptives. It is important to remember that the birth control pill does not correct the underlying problem that is causing the symptoms in the first place. By balancing hormones with femMED Hormonal Balance, many women have reported improvement in the symptoms of PMS without the troubling side effects that can be associated with the birth control pill.

When I was younger, I had very easy menstrual cycles. Now, at 38, I suffer from insomnia, I get anxious, and I break out in acne! How can this be? Any suggestions?

PMS can make life miserable, and for some women, it can last for 14 days each month until menstruation begins. Your experience is common in that PMS symptoms at one age can be very different than at another. Often women will notice these changes after life events like childbirth, and by the same token, PMS can also be aggravated by stress, sugar, alcohol and caffeine intake, and a deficiency in progesterone. Using femMED Hormonal Balance to help balance your hormones can alleviate symptoms associated with hormonal imbalances or fluctuations at any age.

I am 43 years old and have been noticing some changes in my monthly cycles. My breasts get very tender, my cycles are much shorter, I get really moody and I’ve even had the occasional hot flash! Am I in menopause?

Most likely you are in perimenopause (or pre-menopause), which is the transition to menopause. This doesn’t happen overnight. It is the 5 to 10 years before menopause when a woman’s ovarian function is waning, resulting in fluctuating levels of estrogen. This hormonal imbalance, can lead to these, and other symptoms of perimenopause. Perimenopause can start in a woman’s late 30’s or early 40’s.

I am 46 and within the past year I’ve started having heavy periods, including one episode of flooding, some night sweats, and PMS that has worsened quite a bit. I get very nauseous and get migraines right before my period, too. I was wondering if Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) would help, but my best friend had breast cancer and I am concerned about increased risks…

You are right to be concerned. Recent research has shown that while HRT does help to control and manage some of these symptoms, it can also increase the risk of stroke, heart attack, blood clots, cardiovascular disease, breast cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. The ingredients in Hormonal Balance work together to help balance your hormones and reduce the symptoms associated with PMS and pre-menopause. It can also help to regulate menstrual cycles and alleviate symptoms associated with PMS and perimenopause.
